What is tricking?
Tricking is a freestyle sport: a blend of acrobatic martial arts, gymnastic tumbling tricks and some breakdancing elements. It's free of any rules or guidelines (though there are handy tutorials for tricks!), there are no official classes or whatever. Practiosioners of tricking, 'tricksters', usually just toss themselves around (not really, you have to have at least a slight idea of whatever you're going to do!) in front of a camera until they get the certain trick they strived for. And sometimes they make videos in order to track their progress and to express themselves.
What is stormtricks?
Stormtricks is viking themed tricking by a bunch of guys that love the idea! Tatsumaru, Lei, Furiku and Skallarkald started the theme.

Why did you create this website?
I wanted to have a personal page on the internet about tricking where people can download the videos I have created.
Why are all the videos different filetypes?
Because I experiment a lot with compressing videos, and I try a bunch of new things that work at the moment.

What camera do you use?
I've used a Sony DCR-TRV255E for about 4 years, and it still works. You might notice a huge difference in framerate in the 2005 and 2006 samplers, but it was all filmed by the same camera: I just blew at capturing footage back then. Firewire ftw! Since 2008 I own a Panasonic NV-GS320; Astrum, Pyre and Enfrayia have been shot with that one.

Who is the asian guy in the 2004-2007 samplers?
That's Marco! Marco doesn't really trick anymore, because he moved away to another place, for school and all. So he's pretty busy with his life and tricking doesn't fit in so easily anymore, since his tricking buddies are so far away. He'll make a comeback someday though, when he finds time for it.
